This is the famous Weeki Wachee River in Hernando County, Florida where the famed Weeki Wachee Springs Mermaids have entertained the masses since the fifties before the amusement park takeover.  This was a smaller reference painting for a mural series done at Marker 48 Brewery in Hernando County, Florida.
